The Ambient Spotlight demonstrator was developed as a five-person-month iDEA Lab project at The University of Edinburgh undertaken by Jonathan Kilgour, Jean Carletta and Steve Renals from May to July 2010.
The Ambient Spotlight builds on technologies for speech recognition and content linking developed during the AMI and AMIDA European funded projects.
