Tasks

Your major tasks and deadlines this week are:

  • Attend lectures 4, 5, and 6.
  • Attend your tutorial group. Make sure to first attempt the Questions for Tutorial 1 on your own.
  • Attend one of the drop-in labs.
  • Read the readings for this week.
  • Do Quiz 1, which will be issued on Friday and is due on Monday 29 January at 12:00 noon.
  • Finish Assignment 0, which is due on Friday. This assignment is for practicing Python, and is not for credit.
  • Start preparing for Tutorial 2, which will happen next week.

Assignment 0 is a programming assignment that teaches some basic Python. Python is the programming language that we will use the the other assignments in this course. Assignment 0 is not for credit.
