Donald has been working on the Open Microscopy Environment project for over 7 years. He has been a lecturer at Paisley University, a researcher at Dundee University and now Edinburgh. His interests include, Big Data, cloud computing, microscopy, machine learning and bio-informatics. He works on the Rapid.OMERO project adding High Performance Computing to OMERO.
