Ole is a part-time PhD student in the DIR group under Malcolm Atkinson. His research focuses on the application of data-intensive paradigms to the operation of HPC systems and their applications. He is working on a conceptual and practical framework that can tie operational data generated by systems and applications into big data analytics pipelines and integrate the results back into existing HPC application and operation workflows.
In his day job, Ole is a Big Data Engineer at the LEGO Group where he works on the implementation of a service-oriented Big Data platform and application ecosystem.
