Welcome to the Challenge Questions Experiment

As a student of Molecules, Genes and Cells 1 (U03797) , you've been invited to participate in an experiment (click here for the 1-page presentation shown in class on 13 Jan 2009). Thank you in advance for your participation, and please remember the following:

If you would like to continue with the experiment, please proceed to Stage 2 below, as Stage 1 is now closed.

Stage 1

This first stage of the experiment should take you approximately 5 minutes to complete. You will need to have the information sheet and envelope that you received in class in order to complete the survey. To complete this stage of the experiment, please click here.

This stage is now closed.

Stage 2 (Now Open!)

The second stage of the experiment should also take you approximately 5 minutes to complete. You will need to have the sealed envelope from Stage 1 in order to complete this stage of the survey. Only if you participated in Stage 1 of the experiment, and submitted questions, should you continue with the remainder of this experiment below.

To complete this stage of the experiment, please enter your 'Anonymous Identification Number' below. Upon clicking 'Enter', you will be taken to a page with your original challenge questions.

Anonymous Identification Number:

In case the text box for entering your Anonymous Identification Number (above) is not visible, or pressing 'Enter' does not take you to a subsequent web page, you can manually cut-and-paste the following link into your web browser: http://homepages.inf.ed.ac.uk/mjust/nnnnnnnn.html, where 'nnnnnnnn' is your n-digit Anonymous Identification Number. For example, if your Anonymous Identification Number were '12345678', then you would use the following web address: http://homepages.inf.ed.ac.uk/mjust/12345678.html

Please note that once Stage 2 of the experiment begins on Tuesday, 10 February 2009, you will have until 12:00pm (noon) on Saturday, 14 February 2009 to complete the survey. After this time, the survey will no longer be accessible.

A number of small prizes will be awarded to randomly selected students that participated in the survey at the end of your class on Tuesday, 24 February 2009.
