ESRIN, the ESA EO centre located in Italy, is responsible for collecting, storing and distributing EO satellite data. Through various programmes and via participation to EC-funded projects, ESA has obtained excellent contacts with the EU Earth science and EO user community. ESA is also active in promotion of relevant technology (Grid, digital libraries, portals, web-services) for various space-related applications, including Earth science & EO.

We work with ESA in the context of ENVRI, working with Roberto Cossu.
